more blatant jaywalking
Posted on December 29th, 2005 at 10:20 pmI had been feeling off the ball and was somewhat ashamed of my lack of progress, so upon getting the kids’ day started I grabbed up my beautimous (albeit unfinished) 2nd Draco Jaywalker sock and went to it.
I figured I’d get a good hour or so in this morning and then, you know, give my visiting brother my full attention. By 11am though, I realized I could plan on at least finishing this heel flap. HELLO DINGBAT! Your brother is a 22 year old bachelor on winter break. You’ll be lucky to see him awake before 1pm.
So yay, knitting time! I wonder if I’ll get them done and be able to count them in my finished-objects-of-2005 list.

Or Draco can be your first knitted item of 2006!
P.S. Glad you are safe from the fires. It looks like the ones off 152 were just half a mile from my parents’ house! This is the most press Mustang has had since…ever.

Yay, Rose! Those heel flaps are oddly addictive, aren’t they? Once you get going, you just kind of have to crank right through the flappy part. :)
Glad you’re having a good visit with your brother. Enjoy your time together!
