Finished Object, Finished Object!

Posted on March 24th, 2006 at 6:36 am

Boy I dragged this hat out as long as I possibly could. It seems I haven’t been able to sit still long enough to focus on counting for this pattern.

Pattern: Hermione’s cable-and-bobble hat by Lauren Kent
Yarn: Cascade 220 Wool in “Ruby” using size US7 needles. (16 inch circular, 40 inch magic loop, and DPNs. I kept switching becuase neither felt comfortable. Now I realize it was probably because I’m used to US1 needles.)
Comments: Fun hat, fun knit. Perhaps not appropriate as a purse project for those of us who can’t count and visit at the same time…

Congrats on finishing the Hermione hat! I think it is just a tad big for Jamie. She is adorable in this pic! : )

The hat turned out great. That color looks so good on you (though I do miss the little dangly needles - LOL)

The hat looks great! Jamie’s head is a little small though :) The layouts from the previous post are terrific! If I do decide to pick scrapbooking back up, I am never letting you see my pages :)
