So I’ve been knitting a little, although there have been a few spells recently where I haven’t gotten a whole lot in.
This week I completed a quick drawstring bag to present my SockapalOOOza socks in.

I’ve been working on this bag whose pattern is found at Gourmet Yarn. I left out the held-in novelty yarn.

It’s rather shapeless now, but I have (blind) faith in the felting process. Just started the 2nd ball of Cascade 220 and am working on the strap.
Finally, allow me to introduce you to Sibyll1.

Her pattern is Falling Leaves, and she’s made with “Carbon Dating” Socks that Rock.
Knitting tonight! Yay!!
So yeah, the Norman Medieval Fair.
You know, I love almost everything about Renaissance/Medieval Faires. I love being around other nerds, especially, and I love the fairytale sort of atmosphere. I have discovered what I DO dislike though (besides the crowd and being out in the heat). I dislike the discomfort in my heart and gut from being around all these GREAT renaissance-y goods and not having the money to blow on stuff.
I did happen to have enough money for these though.
Mm, greasy Fair Food. These are called butterfly chips, and only cost me a meager 5 bucks. I enjoyed mine minus the bacon pieces.
I took a pathetic few photos, but here’s what I have:

Tomorrow: The return of crafty progress day. Yay!
In case you fancy the topic, I will also be appearing in the show over at Fangirlish. Fanfic, Wizard Rock, squealing. You know, the Harry Potter fan’s essentials…

Yipes, almost missed Self Portrait Sunday!

A picture of me at the Medieval Faire in Norman this weekend. If I am ambitious, I may share a few more pics tomorrow.
