Isn’t this the coolest watch? Me wants.
Here is me at Sarah’s graduation:

The sock and I were mesmerized by the sea of maroon caps.

sps! sps! sps! sps! sps! sps! sps! sps! sps! (This is a chant to encourage people to post theirs.)
Love, Rosemary (who will be home tomorrow night)
PS, sorry about the missing banner and random missing images in older posts and message board messages. My webhost sucks. Don’t you worry; The nasty-grams (thanks to Kelly for the term) have been issued.
So the fam and I shortly will be loading up the car and heading down to Katy, TX to watch the beautiful and talented Sarah graduate from high school.
WOOHOOO, Congratulations!
I *should* be able to blog but, you know, we’ll be visiting and stuff so who knows what will end up happening.
I’ll have the cell, and email access, and knitting, and whatnot.
You know what I’m looking forward to though?

Seeing whether or not the noisy construction guys get the rest of that concrete poured before we return. That’s probably an overly optimistic hope.
Yes, my life is that exciting. lol

So I chopped off my hair. Snip, snip. No more stupid, ugly, hair-tie induced ridges for this knittycraftyfangirl.
I’ve been sick this week, as you might guess from the dead look in my eyes. It seems as though everyone is sick in some way really. The stomach bug I suffered worked it’s way slowly through the members of our household, and strutted its mighty Fatality for me on Thursday. Before that, Julie was sick so we’re dreadfully late in getting CraftBorg, Episode Three together. And Kelly has been sick this weekend, so we’re behind with Fangirlin’ as well.
Such is life, eh?
Despite the fact that I am either tired, or have a burst of energy that deceives me into thinking I’m fully recovered and then get tired again, I have plenty of cleaning, organizing, and general catch-up that needs doing. So I’d better get offa here and give it a go. I’ll try to be a better blogger this week. *sweet smile*
Go check out the newest installment of Fangirlin’:
My teammate and I are but regular, everday people. Neither of us are the competitive type; We desire to simply just be.
She is Peacock Feathers Shawl. She is red, and is knit from silky Jaggerspun Zephyr wool.

It is early in her development, but her voice is mighty and calls me to knit her into the beauty that she is destined to be.
I am an average, but determined knitter.

While not competitive in nature, I am perpetually compelled to challenge myself with new materials and techniques. Peacock is my first substantial lace project knit with true laceweight. Knitting her shall prove my self — to myself.
Aside from the challenge, why have she and I come together? I won’t try to explain it. She and I both are looking forward to witnessing what she can eventually become. A haiku:
wool and silk laceweight
red, for mom and for myself
knit and remember
Jamie and I (and an alpaca) at the fiber “Rendezvous” in Arcadia yesterday.

I ogled a lot of fiber and saw a few familiar faces before I got a headache and had to head out.
Website tweaking is pretty crafty no? I played a little with CSS today. Likey? (LOL Sorry about the black comment box. Should be better now…)
I had started (and had gotten clear into the gusset, actually) of a Pomatomus sock. But I didn’t like it on size US2 needles, so I ripped it and will be restarting it soon. Probably in time for Sit N Stitch tonight.
Continuing work on Peacock Feathers shawl.

I joined the Amazing Lace knitalong to keep me excited and motivated.
Whipped up a quick iPod cosy out of leftovers from Oliver.

Keeping on keeping on with my Fortunate Traveler. The little Stretch dragon is moving along nicely.

The other day I suddenly had an urge to make some ATCs. At some point I got up to get something and when I came back Callie was sprawled over them and snoring, so I didn’t get back to them until today.

I have 6 of them. As a gift to those of you who haven’t gotten bored and quit checking in with me, the first 6 to send me an email (rosemary dot waits at gmail dot com) with their addresses will get one.
Gone. Thanks for the emails. :)
