look at Luna
Posted on October 22nd, 2006 at 10:27 pmJust a bit ago I was taking a second look at the high res pic of Evanna Lynch from the Order of the Phoenix movie to observe the details of her radish earrings closer. Again I was impressed by the beadwork but then I scrolled down a bit and did a double take at her tie.
I lightened it up so I could see better and is it just me or is that a slightly different color between the silver bars? Brown? Perhaps a nod to the canon Blue and Bronze?
Interesting anyway. I’m off to make some radish earrings.

I don’t know. I think it might be black rather than brown, which makes no book sense, but there you go.

Are you going to bead some radishes now?

It maybe that the plain blue and silver turned out to already be used by an actual school. Here in the states, you hear people refer to wearing their ‘college ties’ which are striped in a pattern that is specifically assigned for that college. Similiar to the clan tartan system. I believe British schools do this as well as I know Oxford does have its own striped pattern

good eye… I also think it’s brown.
Lovelovelove the peacock shawl… as beautiful as knitting gets.
