Wheeee! Heading south.

I had intended to make a more thoughtful post, complete with pictures and witty things to say. However, it is late and sadly I fear that if I don’t get to bed soon, tomorrow will be a less-than-enjoyable day.

The fam and I are heading to Katy, TX tomorrow to be with more fam as Justin will be working on some RADAR in Florida from Monday to Friday. The kids will get to trick or treat with the Grandparents and I will get to bore my poor mom-in-law to death with an endless stream of knitting blather.

I shall have Ariann with me for the car ride and despite a recent unfortunate ripping out of several inches of her, I believe she will be completed in the next couple of days. I should be able to get quite a bit done on the car ride down, anyway. I’ve also packed the yarn and my plans for the next sweater I’m knitting, for Kelly’s cool kid, T.

I of course will have access to my email and the blog, etc. So I need not say goodbye. If you are one of those I know in the Houston area, feel free to email me about my plans (or lack thereof) and to poke me for my cell phone number.

For those lurking around Mustang, OK, hoping to break in, steal our things (which don’t amount to much value, I must say) and rifle through our sock drawers, be warned. We have 2 scary attack kitties, as well as a very grumpy downstairs neighbor that you will surely want to steer clear of.

    Enjoy your trip, Rose!

I may have to learn to knit if my southern toes continue to get so cold here in this new home. lol

That’s really weird! We just got back from Houston late Thursday night. I went to Yarns2Ewe while we were there. BIG yarn store. You will have to check it out if you can! Have a safe trip. Oh…my advice? Be sure to knit through Dallas and Houston traffic. Keeps the mind off the crazy Texas drivers.
