Quietish

Peacock is done. Finished and blocked her Sunday. Here’s your stinking pictures. They’re no good though, because some people couldn’t stand to wait til I could take decent ones.

I’m thrilled she’s done though. It is rather freeing. This shawl is massive. I took her off the needles and she was already big enough to be going on with. Then when I blocked her, well, she grew. Immensely. She reaches below my knees. But then, I’m short.

Eventually I will find something plain enough (because I certainly don’t have anything formal enough) to wear so I can go out in the sunlight and get some better shots.

Here I go again. Another of Shimelle’s classes.

The first order of business is to post a pic of myself with my “workbook,” a role of which I assigned to one of my many blank Moleskines.

I’ve got 4 more rows of chart 7, 26 rows of edging, and then the bind off. I hope to finish this month. Really.

It’s grainy and stuff because I had to hit it hard with curves in photoshop before it would even show up. But I think it’s sorta cool; Looks like it came out of a newspaper, except for you know, the lack of interesting content.

Although I have no symptoms other than fever and general blah-ness. But I’ve gotten a little knitting done.

I missed SPS yesterday and I’m sorry. I’ve been sick all last night and today so I’m sure I look like absolute crap. I could be wrong though; I have been too afraid to look in the mirror. In fact, I haven’t brushed my hair yet today.

Instead, I’ll distract you with a little montage of cute cat pictures.

Milka has never paid any attention to my yarn, but since last night she's been totally loving on my current ball. She must have heard me whining to Justin that she doesn't spend time with me and that I need attention from kitties.
