It was bound to happen.

OMG!! Did she say why she had the urge? lol I guess I passed that childhood moment although it could be because my mother kept my hair short at times.

Oh NO! It must be in the air!! Alyssa hacked hers about three weeks ago, but fortunately hers is so curly that it blended back in and I didn’t have to cut the rest of it.
What does she think of her hair now? Did she learn her lesson?

I had a hunch that was what had happened when you had a *Jamie emergency hair appt.* listed earlier.
Zach did a fine job of cutting Amanda’s when she was little. : )
Jamie managed to cut it quite short, didn’t she. : ) She’s still adorable!!!

Wow. And I thought Meghan did a hack job on her’s a few years ago! lol.
It really does look super adorable on her though…love the little barrette! :D

I didn’t hack on my own hair. That’s what little sisters are for!

I did that when I was little - except I did it to my little sister. ha

My mom kept my hair short against my wishes when I was young, so I never touched my hair with scissors, but John hacked off his bangs VERY crookedly at one point.
Jamie is cute as a bug and I LOVE her expression on her face. How does she like her new haircut? Tell her: “short hair is freedom!”

In 1st grade, I took a pair of “safety” scissors and made a very nice, square hole in the center of my bangs. Looked like the classic Jack o’Lantern grin!

This recently happened with my neice, who is 6.
Her mother yelled at her, and she wouldnt stop crying-until aunt tonna told her all about when mommy hacked her own hair!!! She started to giggle, stood up, dropped the phone, and told mommy that she knew mommy did the same thing when she was little. The last thing I heard was my sister yelling I’m going to kill her, when I prudently hung up the phone with a big sisters smug smile.
