Some finished knitting: A quick instant-gratification project for CIC / Care Wool cast on yesterday and finished today.

My plans for the rest of the day include wolfing down lunch and then deciding whether to fit in a chapter or two of my current read or work on some art journaling or both.
As for the matter of last weekend’s Mayer concert, I think that the meaningfulness of the experience is best known to me and trying to explain how I feel about it will only serve to embarrass me a little. So, I’ll give some highlights.
Kelly and Tom were at the show on the day before and gave me a nice lengthy preview via cell phone.
The kids very much enjoyed spending the evening with dear-friend Jeanell.
Justin wrote a little in his blog, here.
I made a point not to look up what his set list might be, so as to be happily surprised with each song.
“Gravity” was the perfect choice to end the first round of his set, and I was touched to hear about how much the song means to him.
One of the signs in the crowd that said something like “Never been kissed - Want to be my first?”, John called the gal up to the stage and planted one on her. So cool.
After spending the entire show speculating as to whether they’d do “Neon”, getting to the last song, holding my breath through the lead-in, and hearing the first notes of it, I was a very happy girl.
I still am.

Ohh, I love John Mayer, but I’ve discovered that I can’t actually watch him sing. *lol* :) I’m glad you had fun & got to hear the song you wanted!! Great socks, btw!
