The Everything Sandwich
Posted on March 2nd, 2007 at 10:43 amCian is very particular about his sandwiches. Here’s exactly what you need to do to make him happy at lunchtime.
1. Assemble your ingredients.
2. Pretend that the combination isn’t the most disgusting thing you’ve ever… combined.
3. Be SURE you ask him what shape he wants his sandwich in before you cut it. Typically he asks for “small triangles” (cut diagonally twice), and sometimes he wants squares or rectangles. Today, he asked for big triangles.
4. Admire the artwork he makes using his crusts with peanut butter as the glue.
Today, he apparently was too hungry to remember that he doesn’t like crusts.

Actually the grape was his choice. He wouldn’t get the flavor I wanted and he wanted jelly, but I got him to compromise with jam.

He’s such a cutie!
If I liked any of those things on a sandwich, it might make my day, too. : )

How funny! Joey is really picky, he only likes Peanut Butter on his sandwich. That makes it easy though. Although, we do go thru the “what shape do you want” ritual every time. Once, he wanted a happy face. I managed to poke holes for the eyes and then made him eat it, lol.
