Lacy Waves Top
Posted on April 16th, 2007 at 1:33 pmWell, it’s done and I think from these photos you can tell the color fairly well. I would have had this up earlier as I’m trying to make it count as my sps, but Flickr is yet again not cooperating with me. I suspect my connection in general is running slow again. Grumble.
But, you’re not here to listen to me whine or complain. I have finished knitting!

Pattern:
Lacy Waves Top from Lace Style
Yarn:
Berroco Softwist in Alizarin
Comments:
I truly dug this yarn once I accepted the splittiness that I imagine is inherent for a wool and rayon combo. It’s shiny but not over the top.
As I had mentioned before, the yo, p2tog pattern was hard on my hands but once I got past those sleeves and worked the yo,p2tog-s in the neckline panel with the cables, it was a lot of fun.
I lengthened the body by an inch or two and shortened the sleeves to about where I would no doubt push them up to if they were longer. It came out just as I had hoped.
