I am with you and no taking part in the debate going on about the book. Every time I reread the books, I see new things. I am kind of sad as well that the books are ending.

I've been uninterested in all the debate and theories too. I love reading the books, and I'm bummed that this is the end of the series.

I understand as well. To be honest, that's a large part of why I have largely avoided fandom and all that it entails. I found that the more I paid attention to all of the debating and theorizing, the less I was able to hold on to the things that I love about the books.

In any case, I have also joined you in the re-reading of the first 6. It struck me the other day how soon the release really is, and figured I'd better get crackin'. :-)

Even though I'm not as much of a fan as you, I don't want the theories as well, I want the book (40 days, 7 hours left). :)

I am totally there with you. I finished re-reading Order of the Phoenix on Saturday, and cried once again. I am looking forward to re-reading HBP. Books 5 and 6, as I read them I felt like I had to zoom through them because so many other people around me were also reading them and couldn't keep their mouths shut. I am hoping for a selfishly quiet reading of DH when it comes out and I have enjoyed re-reading the others at my leisure, enjoying each page of them. Holing up with a friend a reading the new one sounds like a wonderful experience.
