Calla
Posted on June 29th, 2007 at 3:35 pmDone.
Pattern:
Calla
Yarn:
Knit Picks’ CotLin in Moroccan Red, just under 5 balls.
Comments:
Lengthened it by about 3.5 inches, pre-block. What is it with these short and cropped tops? Knit it in the round and only did the cables on the front. Ribbed on the back. Pattern = pretty. Yarn = melikes.
What am I knitting now? At the moment, nothing. I am napping. After that, we’ll see.

Hi Rosemary,
Love the finished project. The color is terrific! Glad to also see the pink socks completed. You were immersed in them the last time I saw you at Borders.
Love the shawl on the new yarn stores web site too….good job on the lace.

Very nice! I just love that color! And it seems like I’m always reading that knitters have had to lengthen their sweater patterns a few inches…are these designers just incredibly short-waisted or what? :)

You look maaaahvelous! Nice work and a very nice color on you, too;-)

Ha! Apparently I am the one these designers are designing for since I am short (and short waisted), yet I still always have to rework the waist shaping. I love the color of thiis FO! And it is amazingly flattering on you.

That’s so pretty!!
I hear you about the short tops. Some of us girls need longer to hide certain areas. Duh!

Very pretty! Red is a good color on you!

Hah! That’s exactly the amount of CotLin I have, in exactly the same color, which I have slated for exactly the same pattern, with exactly the same mods. Good to know there’s somebody else in the universe who thinks like I do. Did you think about widening the straps a bit? I’m wondering about that for mine.
