Upstream

The combination of road-tripping all weekend and the still-strong excitement about Cat B’s latest book, made for a new sock project. I have already done the Cedar architecture, Susanhas knit the Riverbed architecture, and Mary Ellen is knitting the Coriolis. So I chose Upstream.

The yarn is making it especially fun because I had thought, all this time it has been in the stash, that it would be more variegated. Instead I have fun, random stripes!

Also, will you look at these stitch markers? Mary Ellen gave them to me as an early bday present. They happen to match my sock!

I love your socks! How do you like the Upstream increases so far?

Ooo ooo I just started a sock for Michael. Have not decided on an architechture yet. Toe up so I’ll have to figure it out soon.

I set coreolis aside until I’m less tired. The spiral and heel turn were making my head hurt and it seems a bit big… My gauge is the same, I’ve been checking it obsessivly..

    Argh!
