As regards my own personal inability to do anything, I lean towards adult-onset ADHD…this is a disease, and therefore nothing I can do about it. Also, I think when you spend a large portion of your days with small children, your IQ actually becomes the average of your regular talking-with-adults IQ and your children’s age. As they grow, so will your ability to speak in multi-syllabic words.
